This past week has been a rather refreshing week of discovery for me. I dined and/or conversed with people I have not seen in a while. The usual catching up on what everyone has been up to. Upon my "meetings" with these friends (4 of them to be exact), I discovered that the only thing that has changed is their position in their respective journeys. Some had new career paths, while others new spiritual paths. All said and done, no matter what we spoke about, we respected each other and found each other's point of view as a personal discovery. A discovery meaning we have influenced each other whether it was for me to pick up a new book, change our diet, visit a new place, or tweek our focus on something we have been working on. I welcome it all.
Discovery also comes in that wonderful shape of the negative also. For example, things that were said about me (that I found out), things I supposedly said (that I found out), things that people lied to me about (that I found out)....we get the hint. Its the mircale of not having to look for something and stumbling upon it. Many people out there are lonely, hurt, depressed, lost, etc and need some outer stimuli to sustain them and keep them going. Gossip works wonders for these individuals. I accept it.
At the end of the day, we should be happy for what we have achieved in our time on earth. Focus on what we still can achieve. As for other people? Celebrate what they have done for themselves without saying "why don't I have that?" Only you have the job to be the best YOU! Let me be me, and they be themselves. Alda might have me as an "idol" and Grace is waiting for my book, but they both helped me "discover" to make my daily blog writing public.
Don't gossip for this week. Just discover what your "voice" is telling you.

Discovery Made Public
